More Halloween & Thanksgivings Cards

After everyone left from the Stamp Camps, I had additional parts that had been pre-done and decided to make some more cards. I also had some skull & crossbones I had not used yet and Bonnye decided she wanted to make cards with them. I helped her with the orange card, but she wanted to do the black one "All by herself" and did, even used the monoadhesive. So proud of her, she did it a little like the first one, but added her own touches. So cute.

Bonnye's second card that she did all by herself. Think I will add a white "Boo!" to it tomorrow though, on top of the black one, so that it shows up.

09-19-15 Stamp Camp

Had a great time! Jennifer Waterman and Carmen Rivera did such a good job making their Witches' Décor Projects and then the little bottles with bands for Halloween and Thanksgivings. Margarethe was unable to come even though she got her kit, but I know she can do it on her own or will call me if needed.

Here are all the items they each made:

 Jennifer's projects

 Jennifer's hat

Jennifer's bottle with extra band for Thanksgiving's

 Carmen's projects

 Carmen's hat

 Carmen's Halloween bottle

 Carmen's Thanksgiving bottle

Carmen had brought her granddtr., Demarise with her. She and Bonnye hit it off immediately and had a great time together being silly girls.

Timako had hoped to come by and make the bottle and cards, but was also unable to make it on Sat., however, she & her dtr., Zanea came on Sunday and made them.

September 2015 MPP - Wickedly Sweet Treat

Got this month's My Paper Pumpkin kit today. So cute! Hope they have the refill kits for this one as I definitely want more to make for my red hatters. When I first saw it, I was thinking cute bag for a candy apple, but too small for that. It is suppose to resemble a broom. I did one differently and think it looks more like a broom.

09-18-15 Sr. Ctr. Class - Halloween/Thanksgiving Bottles

Had so much fun today at the Westmoreland Active Lifestyle Ctr. (Col. Beach Sr. Ctr.) today. For this one, I had everything pre-stamped, die cute, punched, etc. So all they had to do was pick a few of the various choices and make their Halloween and their Thanksgiving's bands for their bottle. They had a great time decorating them and this was one time that they all were able to work a little on each of their own projects. Kim added googly eyes to her acorn, so the rest decided to as well as it was so cute. Myrt came up with the suggestions to get some essence oils to put in the bottle and the wood sticks you use for that and you'd have your own incense. Great idea! Thanks again to Mary Brown for inspiring this project(see previous post for link to her blog)

Ginny glued her Burlap Ribbon to the bottle before I showed them that the project was interchangeable bands, 1 bottle per person. She was the only one that chose the black bottle.

Halloween Project (Retired)

I purchased this kit last year off the Clearance Rack and decided to finally put it together as in the Halloween Spirit right now. It is currently still available on Clearance Rack, while supplies last, for $10.79.
I didn't have the stamp set that was used when it came out, so I used "Among the Branches" which is in the current Holiday Mini. I like it better, so that worked out well.

I love this beaded spider!

Projects for Upcoming September 19th Stamp Camp

For once I have my projects done in advance. I wanted to put my Witches' Hat Décor Kit put together so that I could better assist the stamp camp attendees. This kit had to be pre-ordered. I love it! It was easy to assemble. I changed mine up just slightly from one pictured in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I also did my leaves a little differently to try to make them look a little more "real". I dampened them and then crumpled them and then carefully uncrumpled them and laid out to dry. once dry, then I sponged the colors on the edge and over leaf. I used Tangelo Twist and Old Olive in addition to the Soft Suede in instructions. If time allows I have a little 4" jug/vase for them to make a band for both Halloween and Thanksgiving. They can also make a coordinating card to go with their jug/vase, if desired and time allows. Class is from 2-5pm, however, I will extend time for those that don't finish and want to stay to complete their hat or the other projects. The jug/vase was inspired by Mary Brown. (click on her name to see hers)

 All of the projects planned

Witches'  Hat Décor

Halloween band for jug/vase and coordinating card.

Thanksgivings/Fall band for jug/vase and coordinating card

Choice of white or black jug/vase (1 per person).
Bands switched to show what each looks like on the opposite color.

May 2023 MPP - Exploring In Color

I LOVE this month's cards, especially the ones with the buffalos. They remind me of our trip to hubby's sister's country home in...
