October MPP - Blissful Bouquet

Love the colors in this collection. It came in a beautiful pink box for Breast Cancer Awareness month. I kinda wish it had been an awareness themed set as well, but still like this kit. Made my cards with minor changes from kit instructions.

Oct. 17th Stamp Camp

This month we started on our Christmas cards. Only had 2 attendees, but we had fun. I did the same cards we made at the Sr. Center the day before, but we stepped them up a bit. Here are my samples:

Added Silver Glitter cardstock snowflake on scarf.

One on left is stepped up with Brushed Gold Card stock (retired) vs Hello Honey card stock used on right. one.

Same step-up done on this card with Brushed Gold.

Bonnye was still a little under the weather, but wanted to stay out with us and visit. At the end she decided she had to snuggle with Carmen.

Update:
Timako was unable to join us on Sat., so we met up at Panera's on Monday, enjoyed a light lunch and then stamped. We really enjoyed ourselves and plan to do it again sometime.

Only change we made was that we colored in the All Ye Faithful card
with Blendabilities (retired) vs colored pencils.

This was mine using the Blendabilities. I hope Stampin' Up! comes up with a replacement
for these that don't have any quality issues. I love working with these.

Sr. Ctr. Cardmaking Day

This month we are starting on their Christmas cards. I had everything pre-cut and pre-stamped and all they needed to do this time was assemble and color in the All Ye Faithful card. Even ones that I usually do the cards for assembled and colored. I was so proud of them all. Only one needed more assistance, but handicap keeps her from being able to do anything, but she loves to have the homemade cards.

They were also having their birthday month lunch party and invited me to stay. So nice to stay and socialize with them once in awhile after class.

They had 3 scarf color choices. Island Indigo, Real Red, Rich Razzelberry. Work of Art stamp set used. Sentiment from Versatile Christmas.

All Ye Faithful stamp set. Joyous Season stamp set. Merry Christmas is from Sassy Salutations.

Halloween Treat Holders

Have been seeing these cute pumpkins for awhile now. These little pumpkins were inspired by ones done by Cindee Wilkinson on her blog. I added the jack-o-lantern face (saw it on others). I made these for my Buzzin' Busy Bees chapter's Oct. 8th luncheon.

(Note: Fall Fest used for the jack-o-lantern face is retired)

I am making these cute treat boxes for the  Scarlet Sophisticate luncheon coming up on Oct. 21st. I used the Matchbox Bigz Die (retired). These were inspired by Chris Twing's blog.

List of supplies used for both projects. (Note: Matchbox die (retired) used for tombstone project)

May 2023 MPP - Exploring In Color

I LOVE this month's cards, especially the ones with the buffalos. They remind me of our trip to hubby's sister's country home in...
