August Stamp Camp

Had fun today with one of my fellow red hatters and new customer (for me), Juliet at my stamp camp. Jennifer W. and her dtr., Nadia (4 y.o.) also came. Bonnye was so happy to have someone to play with. Up until this morning I thought only Jennifer was coming. Juliet called this morning to see if she could still come. Of course, I said yes!

The main card of the day was one like the one I made for my grandson, Brexton last month. Used the new No Bones About it Stamp set. Love this set! I let them each pick the pattern DSP they wanted from the Cherry On Top Designer Paper Stack. The colors in it are great!
 L-R: Mine, Juliet, Jennifer

Since neither of them had come last month, I wanted to show them the DSP Cut, Flip, Add a Strip technique using the DSP I had pre-cut and left over from last month.

 Juliet's card.

Jennifer's card (however, she liked this combo instead of the other side of the top piece.

After Jennifer & Nadia left (forgot to get their pic), Juliet went thru the stamps I have out in LR and wanted to make another card using the Legos stamp from "Boys Will Be Boys" stamp set. I forgot to get a pic of her finished product. She googled the set and found one she liked. And since we didn't have the EF used on it, she used Large Polka Dot. Card base was Crushed Curry, layered with Real Red that was embossed with the Lg. Polka Dot. and a strip of white with the lego stamped all over it and colored in. She didn't add a sentiment yet.

Bonnye stamping. Tap, tap, tap, stamp!

July MPP - Thanks a Latte

Love this My Paper Pumpkin kit! Finally got time to put a few samples together. I have seen some cute alternative layouts, but I like the ones that came in the instructions. I may make a couple alternate ones later.

May 2023 MPP - Exploring In Color

I LOVE this month's cards, especially the ones with the buffalos. They remind me of our trip to hubby's sister's country home in...
