VCRocks Gift Card Holder Swap

As I mentioned, I also joined the Gift Card Swap. They have all been received by now, so I can share what I made and received. Here is the card I made.

July Stamp Camp

This month we started with the DSP Cut, Flip, Add a Strip technique I just learned, Really make pretty cards very easy. Then we did some cards I had made for my VCRocks online group and a Get Well Card I made for my stash.

The sentiment is from the May My Paper Pumpkin kit.

We also made a simple birthday card using Age Awareness Stamp set. DSP is retired.

 Then we made a card using the new Get Well Soup stamp. Love this stamp. We stamped the full image on white and then just the cup on some DSP and cut it out and glued it on to make the decorated cup. Next time I will take the ink off the heart or use markers to ink the outline of cup.

Lastly, we made a card using the "Boys Will Be Boys" stamp set. Pool Party or Mint Macaroon used on mine. Those that did it used  the robot only.

VCRocks Virtual Stamping Weekend

This month is VCRocks 15th Anniversary. So instead of just having a Virtual Stamping Day on Saturday, we had a VS Weekend! I wasn't able to do very many due to having a friend's birthday party to go to on Saturday and then just being tired Sunday and sleeping the day away. I opted not to do any of the scrapbooking ones (even #s) and just did a few of the card challenges (odd #s). Here are the few I did manage to get done.

 Challenge #1 - CASE a card from the catalog, pgs. 74-110, but make it your own.

Stamp Set:  Heartfelt Sympathy

Paper:  Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, ? DSP (retired)

Ink: Tuxedo Black

 

 Challenge #3 - Using dies/framelits to make a card either as a base and/or layers.

Stamp set: Blended Bloom, Sassy Salutations

Paper: Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Gingham Garden DSP (retired)

Ink:  Tuxedo Black, Markers - Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Old Olive

 

 Challenge #13 - Make a card using 1 of these color combos - Pool Party, Sahara Sand, Whisper White OR Mint Macaron, Smoky Slate, Whisper White

I like both combos, so I did both.

 I decided to fussy cut out the toys and pop them up with dimensionals as well as pop-up the punched sentiments.
