Just Playing Around

After my Stamp Camps, I always leave the big table up for a few days to have more room to stamp on. Didn't get a lot of time to do so this time around, but I did do a few things.

August Stamp Camp

My first Stamp Camp since the pandemic started. Unfortunately Carmen had a conflict and was unable to come, but still had a decent turnout, Just 2 people, but considering some are still not socializing and 1 had a conflict, I was happy with that. I had so much going on I didn't have time to prep, so I made up cards when they got there (had them in my mind, just hadn't put them to paper yet. Two were inspired by cards I saw online and I changed them up just a tad to make them my own. Margarethe made some additional cads using some items I had already cut out of the Penguin Playmates DSP (SAB item).

Bonnye (my 9 y.o. granddtr.) played photographer and took all the pictures of the cards for me. She made her cards after everyone left. I did do the background for the Halloween card for her, but she did the rest. She is really getting good.

My card. I had precut the stockings and the cat and dog and already had the brick background ready for them and the brown square for fireplace and a strip for mantle (hidden by holly). This was only thing I had prepped. I didn't get mine made until after they left and decided it needed a little something and then I decided to add the holly and bow. Wish I'd thought of it earlier for them.

I had this one in my mind, but I couldn't find the DSP. Margarethe found it when they were here, so I thru this together (also inspired by one I saw online), but changed it up a tad. I cut out the shapes once found, while they worked on something else.

August 2021 MPP - Hope Box

I love Butterflies and this set is fabulous. Perfect for  my Sparkly Social Butterflies group. Love the box for keeping keepsakes in.

 

I'm a Great-Auntie Again!

Oh Happy Day! My niece, Jennifer & NIL, Wade had their 3rd child on Aug. 7th, 2021 making my sister a grandma again and me a great-auntie. Welcome to the family Rylee June Weatherred, 7 lbs 4 ozs., 20 ins. and oh so cute!

Sneak Peak Cards from Aug./Dec. 2021 Mini

Received my pre-order a few weeks ago. Finally got time and mojo to play a little. I ordered a LOT, so there will be more forthcoming. These two are my favorite.

June 2021 MPP - Expressions in Color

 Received my kit on Saturday. Love it. Cards are so pretty. I wasn't in the mood to do any alternative cards and I really liked the ones per instructions, so I just made them all the same. I know I will be sending a few of these out. These also would coordinate with the Expressions in Ink DSP. I may have to breakdown and get the refill kit if it becomes available and do some alternative cards using these and the DSP.

This card is the only change I did...I didn't stamp the floral images onto it. 

I preferred to just see the green marbled background.
