03-21-22 First time back to make cards since the pandemic hit. Only open on Mon. & Wed. at this time. Only 3 ladies today.

Sr. Center Cardmaking Day

Another fun day at the Westmoreland Lifestyle Ctr. in Colonial Beach. They had fun arranging their hearts on the Valentine's Day card and then coloring in the birthday card. Love it when the change theirs up a bit. The ladybug one was pre-stamped, so no changes with it other that the way they colored it, maybe. Paul was also there, but just watches, so I always make him a card as well and I either make one of each for Cindy, the Center Manager or I give her my samples if no time to make an extra set or no extras if a larger group than expected arrives. I usually prep for 8 attendees, so this time I made her a set. No pics of ones I made for her and Paul this time, since same as my samples.

October 2019 Senior Center Card Day

Good turnout today - 7 ladies & Paul (he just watches, but I make a couple for him).  They really liked the cards and did a good job coloring them in and assembling them.

Ethel's cards. She had to leave, so didn't finish hers. Left her the adhesive, so she could do so later.

September Sr. Ctr. Card Day

This month I had 4 ladies (my regulars) and 1 gentlemen. Paul is new to the center and has dementia. Very sweet man. He just wanted to watch us and kept telling us he was in Vietnam and he kept complementing the ladies on their cards and telling them they were doing very good and would tell me that I work hard. thye made Halloween cards and I also took the color wash style card from the Aug. add-on kit and some leaves I had leftover from last month and let them make a Thanksgiving's card. I didn't get a pic of my samples and gave all my samples to Cindy, the Ctr. Manager.

June's Sr. Center Cardmaking Day

I went to the Sr. Center in Col. Beach to make cards with my ladies on 6/21. Hard to believe I have been going since 2007. Only one of the original ladies still coming and due to her health issues, I'm not sure how long she will be able to come. She was missing this month as down in FL visiting her son and the feeling with others is that the son is planning on moving her down there closer to him, but she will fight him on that I am sure. Anyway, I have anywhere from 3-6 ladies that come and they always enjoy themselves. I have to keep the cards very simple and usually have them pre-stamped and cut, as issues keep them from stamping and most are limited to just coloring in when needed and assembling.

Bonnye had gone with me, so afterwards she and I went to the beach there. My first time out in the sun for more than a few minutes, so I came home looking like a lobster. She had a great time.
