More St. Patty's Day Treats

Sorry for the delay in posting, but here are the treat bags I made for my other 2 red hat groups. I went a lot simpler on these and just did a very, very simple tag for the bags. I had 4 of the previous rainbow twizzler treat bags left and used 2 ea. of those as door prizes at the other 2 luncheons.
These were for the 3/15 Sweet Magnolia Luncheon

Here are some of my Sweet Magnolias!
Bea celebrated her 80th birthday this month!

Today is Bobbie's 75th birthday!

These were for the 3/21 Scarlet Sophisticates luncheon. Sorry, I didn't get a better close-up. It is the same as above, just done using the wide oval punch instead of the rectangular die.

Here are some of my lovely Scarlets!

St. Patty's Day Treats

This year I hosted my Red Hat Busy Bee group for March. We went to a place called The Pub. First time there. It was very good. I always like to do party favors when I host and this one was shared by several demos on my LNSDemosonly group. I loved it. The idea originated with www.ourbestbites.com . So I just had to make them. The topper was made using My Digital Studio.

While I did have a blast making these, 14 of them was more than enough, so my 2 other groups (1 of which I am also hosting at The Pub this week) will not be getting these. I will be making something for my Sweet Magnolias, but not quite as time consuming. I'll share those after the event on the 15th. I will also be making a little something for my Scarlet Sophisticates group (even though I am not hosting it) on the 21st. I must admit, I enjoy making things like this more than I like making cards. Probably why I haven't sat down and made any in awhile. Need to do so soon.  :-)

Busy Bees Celebrate St. Patty's Day Early

On March 3rd Bobbie and I hosted the Busy Bee luncheon at The Blarney Stone Pub with an very early St. Patty's Day celebration. We played a left right game that I had written out, passing around a plant yourself little shamrock pot. We had made up some treat bags and gave the centerpieces as door prizes. We had a great time!

The Busy Bee's Get-together

My Red Hat "Busy Bee" group went to Pinkadilly Tea House for this months gathering and I was co-host with Bobbie and we love to go all out for the girls with party favors and nice door prizes. Our Queen Mom stepped down and the Vice-Queen has taken her place as Queen and I have agreed to be Vice-Queen/Secretary (I just fill -in when she is not there, but I also now do the newsletter each month). Anyway, I just had to use the new Stampin' Up! set called Just Buzzin' By for our treat bags, plus I had found the little bee figurine with heart that says "Bee Mine" thru Oriental Trading and just had to get them to put in the bags (you can just see him at the bottom left of bag). Bobbie also found an adorable bee hive cake mold and made a honey cake (pictured below)for the outgoing and incoming Queens.
