Rock Your Creativity
with Stampin' Up! Colors!
I needed to make an anniversary card for my Son and DIL's 3rd anniversary which was on the 21st, so I decided to take care of that and my entry for this blog. The past couple of years my favorite color combo is Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler and either Kraft or now Baked Brown Sugar. I generally use Very Vanilla to stamp on, but I had this flower from the "Blooming with Hope" Hostess stamp set already done on Whisper White and colored in using my new Cherry Cobbler abd Old Olive Blendabilities, so I decided to use it. Love the Blendabilities! Sorry the pictures aren't better, just couldn't get the lighting right and they came out kinda pale looking, but the colors are very vibrant in real life.
I love how smooth the transition from light to dark is using the Blendabilities.
The really are very easy to use.
You can't tell in the picture, but the flower is popped up with dimensionals as well as the sentiment. For the sentiment I used the Decorative Label and the Word Window punches. and the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" stamp set.
Wish I had more time to make another card, but it just wasn't available, but FYI, my other favorite color combos are Tempting Turquoise, Real Red and Daffodil Delight. I also love Coastal Cabana and Baked Brown Sugar.
Wait, I can share a previous card I made with the Coastal Cabana and Baked Brown Sugar, so here ya' go!
The stamp set used for this card is "Wetlands"

Very nice cards! Love the blending on the main card.
Love your coloring with the Blendabilities. I also love your Wetlands card. It is one of my favorite sets. I am so glad it is still in the AC.
